lesson learned

 don't leave a 3-year-old

unsupervised in my studio

this is what will happen

at least she used the same orange i was working with

now that my blood pressure 

has gone down 

i'm viewing it as

 a creative challenge

her mother and i had a good laugh about it :)

what a great place to spend the last

week of summer

some highlights:

watched the sunrise over the pond

fed lots of chickens

ate funnel cakes at the local air show

visited with aunt mary

knox got to meet her for the first time 

he had his first giggle while she played peek-a-boo

her 100th birthday is this sat! holla!

painted plates and bowls thrown by mom :)

now we're back home and school has started!

i am happy to be back in the studio

and painting again
